Master Pejo began his Taekwondo training at the tender age of 11 yrs. old under Grandmaster Sang Chul Lee (Vice-President World Taekwondo Federation, President of the US Taekwondo Union, Host of the 2008 World Taekwondo Hamnadang Championships) in his hometown of Binghamton, New York.  A Martial Arts Prodigy, Master Pejo became ranked #3 in the US in 1985 at 16 yrs, old and was ranked #3 in the world in 1989.  Coming from one of the most famous Taekwondo Families in US History, Master Pejo’s younger sister May won a Bronze medal at the 1988 Olympic Games and brother Sammy won the US’s 2nd ever Gold medal at the Collegiate World Championships.  Now with over 29 years of Martial Arts experience, Master Pejo has taught, trained, and coached numerous State, National, World, and Olympic Champions.

Master Pejo began training in Modern Arnis under the Founder of Modern Arnis, Grandmaster Remy Presas.  Master Pejo is under Grandmaster Paul Olbeter of the Korean Hapkido Federation.
